About Me…

I am a Cedarville University student studying Broadcasting and Digital Media with a film and video concentration. I have minors in both Theatre and Bible. Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to be a storyteller. Because of this calling, my goal is to make my passion for storytelling apart of my career.

I grew up in Ohio writing stories and making movies with my friends and family. As I got older, I fell in love with writing fictional stories. I have currently written one book, and I am working on a five-book series I intend to publish after college. I am also developing my skills in digital media so I can expand my storytelling capabilities from page to screen.

My first job was at Akron Fossils and Science Center where I worked as a tour guide and Science Camp Teacher. This job taught me a lot of valuable skills necessary in the work force. It helped me learn how to engage with strangers and the value of working faithfully on tasks that aren’t desirable but necessary. Finally, working at Akron Fossils taught me how to work in stressful environments while maintaining a positive attitude and a smile. I also worked on Camp Carl’s Media Team during the summers of 2024 and 2025. There I shot and edited photos and video that capture the stories of camp. That experience taught me valuable skills in photography, videography, and editing.

Since coming to Cedarville, I continue to develop my skills in digital media and storytelling. I work as a PSB AV Tech member who films speaker events held on campus. I am also a member of the University’s dance organization, Ayo. While on breaks I volunteer for my church as a camera operator for their Sunday Service Live Stream.

There are several areas of storytelling I desire to pursue. The main two are becoming a published author and scriptwriter. My childhood dream was to become a storybook author and illustrator and since then that dream has only grown. After college, I plan to become a published author and illustrator. I also love movies and desire to use my passion to writer scripts for film and T.V.

I am also pursuing a career in the film industry. I find film as a storytelling form to be fascinating. I want to pursue a career in the film industry in order to bring stories to life from page to the screen. Jobs I am pursuing in the industry are screenwriter, editor, storyboard artist, director, camera operator and PA. These are jobs I think I would thrive in however, any job I would enjoy. I just want to make movies and be a part of the filmmaking process.

Finally, I desire to pursue a career as a photographer and videographer of weddings and events. Weddings are the most magical day of a girl’s life, and I want to help preserve that magic. Through photography, videography, and editing I will help capture couple’s love stories and tell the story of their Happily Ever After.
